Scholarship

The management lives up to the dream of the founder patron – St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara in reaching out to the poor section of the society. The financially backward students are identified and are given scholarship to enable parents educate their children with less constrain.


Kindergarten Park

A beautiful children’s park is setup at the entrance with life size statues of animals erected in it. Students are taken to the park once in a week class wise to play and have fun. It also has a few play things and rides, landscapes and greenery all very soothing and attractive to the little students.


Talents Competition

 Identifying & grooming the hidden talents begin at the Kindergarten level. All students have special talents that need to be recognized and nurtured. We pay attention to what they like to do and encourage them to develop those skills and confidence. We also provide a comfortable and understanding ambience to hone their talents naturally. The competitions are spread over eight months to enable students to prepare well and participate.


Celebrations

A few common celebrations are held to enable students have a good time and demonstrate what is important to them in our culture.  It also helps them to have a good understanding of the meaning and purpose of celebrations. Celebrations included during the year are Children’s day, Principal’s day, Teacher’s day, Christmas and Annual day


Thematic days

This concept is introduced to facilitate students learn more effectively through activities. Every class is given an opportunity to show case their talent on a particular theme and convey the message to their fellow students through their various performances.


Annual Day

Celestyna  - Annual Day is a mega event. It is a platform which gives an opportunity to more than half the strength of Kindergarten to actively involve. It is a day for the students to express their gratitude and love to their parents. Students are trained to deliver dialogue, sing, dance, play instruments, enact, anchor etc.


Sports

Sports and games are given equal importance in the scholastic curriculum. Students are exposed to various sports & games to build up their physical fitness and the spirit of sportsmanship.


Syllabus

The monthly syllabus is prepared and sent to the parents on the first day of every month. Parents get a clear idea of what is taught in the month. It also carries information and announcements for the month, well in advance.


Social Services

Students contribute both in cash and kind in the first week of December. They are collected, sorted out packed and distributed to the orphanages, old age homes and the destitute shelters in the city. The teaching faculty go out in batches to distribute and spread the goodness of sharing during Christmas season.


Transportation

Communication to and fro is made convenient. There are school buses plying around the vicinity of your home. Students are dropped at the campus by 9.30 am and are picked by 1.15 pm from the campus. Each bus has a male conductor and a lady staff to take care of students in the bus in addition to the driver.
